Conrad Granito was the former general manager of Coushatta Casino & Resort in Kinder , Louisiana the largest Indian Casino in Louisiana., Prior to Coushatta, Conrad was ge3nral Manager of Santa Ana Star Casino, Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. In April 2008, Native American Casino magazine awarded Granito its prestigious Leadership Award. Granito assumed management of Santa Ana Star Casino in 2003, and in four short years, he led the facility to become one of the state’s leading American Indian owned casinos, almost doubling its market share and tripling total revenue. Further, under Granito’s management, the casino was twice recognized as one of New Mexico’s top ten places to work by New Mexico Business Weekly.

 

The award is given to companies based on nominations placed by its employees, who participated in an online, anonymous survey. Quantum Market Research, an independent market research firm, tallied the survey results to determine the winners. Granito brings 18 years of casino management to his position as General Manager at Coushatta Casino Resort, along with an intense personal drive and energy, and a dynamic work ethic. His “hands-on” management style that has contributed greatly to his accomplishments will be an asset in his new position
